5 learnings from Mahatma Gandhi we must always remember - A Media Production Initiative

We all have learned about all the revolutionizing work Mahatma Gandhi has done for us. Right from teaching us the path towards non-violence to bringing independence to our nation, he has played an essential role. Though he has passed away, his teachings till today have consistently inspired our entire nation to bring a wave of positive change to our country. Today on the occasion of his birthday, we wanted to remind every youth of the 5 lessons we must learn from the father of our nation.
Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.
Gandhiji always believed that the true way to irradicate poverty is by educating ourselves. He himself was a learned scholar who studied in South Africa to come back to our country and help our country grow. He had seen that people were prolonging many joys of life thinking they would do it in the near future and had a mindset of not learning things as they thought learning an art would take a lot of time, and it would end up not being useful in the long run. Hence this quote is inspiring a lot of people to either start afresh or to continue the art they have invested in.
The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.
Our society seems to be in a race of achieving status and monetary benefits which have completely changed the true essence of live a fulfilling life. This quote of mahatma Gandhi reminds us that while working towards the betterment of ourselves, it is important for us to contribute towards the betterment of our society too. This will not only help others but will also help us discover our true selves (charitable and helpful people)
Be the change you want to see in the world
When we know something is wrong, we always expect someone else to take care of it, though this quote, Mahatma Gandhi reminds us that if we wish to see something change, it is important for us to begin with it, because if we don't, no one else will. This change doesn't even have to be a big action, even small actions like not littering our streets, ensuring we ourselves don't abuse the resources we are blessed with are sufficient to prove his next learning.
In a gentle way, you can shake the earth.
It only takes a drop of water from each individual to fill a pond, which is not only a quote but is a proven fact. We humans like to replicate actions done by others hence when we take the first step towards doing something good. it automatically creates a ripple effect and inspired others to do the same. This action helps us make even a bigger impact than what we had originally thought of.
Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth
Honesty plays an essential role when it comes to living a truthful life. Mahatma Gandhi always thought us that in spite of any consequences that might come our way, we should always walk on a path of honesty and we will automatically get the courage to tackle any situation as we would need the shield of lies to cover up our mistakes. He also mentioned in his learning that being human beings, it is natural for us to make mistakes in the learning process, but what we learn out of those mistakes is something that makes us the better version of ourselves.
